Economic Development and Collaborative Partnerships Will Benefit Communities Across the State

In a new Powell administration, Joint Planning Agreements (JPAs) with our partners in municipalities and counties across the state will be revitalized. Our previous agreements with the cities of Las Cruces and Gallup, as well as Dona Ana, McKinley, and Luna counties helped make businesses and individuals aware that State Trust Lands could be utilized for economic development. Numerous communities across the state can once again benefit from similar collaborative partnerships.
