Creating Good Paying Jobs

The creation of good-paying jobs has been and will continue to be a top priority in our administration. During my previous administrations State Trust Lands were used to foster and grow high-tech economic development and the creation of excellent jobs.

We accomplished this by teaming with local communities and the private sector to create the following:

-Innovation Park at Mesa del Sol

-Sandia Science and Technology Park,

-Lea County Business Park near Hobbs

Combined, these projects created over 5,000 high-paying jobs. 

This is just the beginning of how my team will ensure the State Land Office re-invigorates and lifts New Mexico’s struggling economy.
