Expanding New Mexico’s Electric Transmission Capacity to Grow Renewable Energy Production

We will restart the strong effort to work with private and governmental entities to expand New Mexico’s electric transmission capacity to increase the use and export of New Mexico-generated renewable power.

As transmission lines develop statewide, revenue from renewable energy production will grow substantially. We will work to make sure New Mexico leads the nation in the production, utilization, and export of renewable energy.
