  • In Albuquerque, partnering with Sandia National Laboratories, referred future specialized technology businesses developed at the Sandia Science and Technology Park to the Mesa del Sol 1,300-acre eco-industrial park development.
  • In Albuquerque, established the Sandia Science and Technology Park in partnership with the City of Albuquerque, Sandia Laboratories, Albuquerque Public Schools and Build New Mexico.
  • In Albuquerque, helped create 200 new jobs by making venture capital from the Trust Permanent fund and Trust land at the Sandia Science and Technology Park available to keep the EMCOR company in New Mexico.
  • In Albuquerque, Eclipse Aviation at Double Eagle airport was provided state trust land to ensure that they were able to stay in New Mexico. It was recently announced that 1000 new jobs will be created by the company.
  • In Santa Fe County, the Santa Fe County Business Park was located on 60 acres of state trust land when the Land Office agreed and signed an agreement for the ground breaking in 2000.
  • In Las Cruces, the West Mesa Industrial Park signed an agreement with the City of Las Cruces to expand onto 35 acres of state trust land that will house new employers.
